Evan Fitzpatrick
Evan Fitzpatrick, first made a name for himself during the 2012-2013 season as a goaltender with the Newbridge Senators Major Bantam team. He remained with Newbridge the following season, joining their major midget team, the Newbridge Gladiators. With the Gladiators, he posted a 2.31 goals against average in 18 games.
Fitzpatrick’s strong play with the Gladiators caught the attention of the Sherbrooke Phoenix to such extent that they selected him with the 4th overall pick in the 2014 QMJHL draft.
Fitzpatrick will be entering his third season with the Phoenix in 2016-17. In addition to playing in the QMJHL, he has had the opportunity to represent his country on the ice. Fitzpatrick played for Team Canada in the 2014-2015 Under-17 World Championships and 2015-2016 Under-18 World Championships.
